Lexi Dawson - Hitting & Fielding
Alexis Dawson, a former standout first baseman and power hitter, is a valuable addition to The Bullpen. With a strong background in college softball, Alexis brings Division 2 experience from her time as a player at IUP, specializing in corner infield and power hitting. Her exceptional skills on the field were evident throughout her career, consistently leading her high school and travel teams in batting average, RBI's, and on-base percentage.
Alexis's coaching journey began as an assistant coach for the Silver Creek travel organization, where she shared her knowledge and passion for the game with aspiring young players. Her dedication and expertise led her to take on the role of head coach for the Bullpen Bulls 16u Showcase team during the 2022-2023 season. Under her guidance, the team achieved an impressive record of 16-7 in highly competitive college showcases, showcasing Alexis's coaching abilities.
In addition to her coaching experience, Alexis has been providing hitting lessons in her hometown of Beaver, PA for two years. Her commitment to developing players of all ages and skill levels is evident in her second year of offering lessons with the Bullpen. Alexis is passionate about helping young girls excel in softball, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to reach their full potential on the field.
Lily Jordan - Hitting & Catching
Lily Jordan, a stellar senior starting catcher for the West Shamokin Wolves, is making waves in the softball world. Her skills and dedication have contributed to her team's success, including their 2023 Heritage Conference Championship win. With seven years of travel ball experience, Lily's passion for softball extends beyond her high school team. She currently plays for the Bullpen Bulls 18u - Berg, where she continues to develop her skills and contribute to her team's achievements.
Lily's exceptional abilities on the field have earned her well-deserved recognition. She was named the 2023 All-State catcher, receiving Second Team honors. She has also been selected for the 2023 All-Gazette Softball Team and the Leader Times "Super 17" Softball All-Star Team, where she received Second Team recognition in 2022. Her outstanding performance led to her being named a 2022 Troy-Alan Buick Athlete of the Week and the 2023 High Top Sports "Best Female Individual Performace of The Year".

Shelby Cloak - Hitting & Fielding
Shelby Cloak, a talented senior starting 3rd Baseman and Utility player for the Armstrong Riverhawks Softball Team, is making waves in the softball world. Her high school team has achieved remarkable accomplishments, including being the 2021 and 2023 WPIAL 5A Runner-Up, the 2022 WPIAL 5A Champion, and the 2021 and 2022 PIAA State Championship Runner-Up teams.
With nine years of Travel Softball experience, Shelby's passion for the sport extends beyond her high school team. She generously volunteers her time as an Assistant Coach for Armstrong Little League Softball, sharing her knowledge and love for the game with younger players.
Shelby's exceptional skills on the field have earned her recognition as a Second Team selection for the 2022 PA BIG 5-6 All Section, and an Honorable Mention in 2023. She is currently a valued member of the Bullpen Bulls 18u - Berg team, where she continues to develop her abilities and contribute to her team's success.

Gavin Hoban - Hitting Instructor
Gavin Hoban, a highly experienced softball instructor, has recently relocated to Indiana, PA. With a strong fastpitch presence in the Pittsburgh area, he has worked with various travel organizations in Western PA, providing team instruction and private lessons to players from esteemed teams such as Pittsburgh Passion, Riot, Roadrunners, and Team Pennsylvania.
Gavin's coaching journey began in the Dubois/St. Marys/Indiana region, where he dedicated his time to instructing players. He also served as the Hitting & Assistant coach for St Francis University, leaving a lasting impact on the team. Additionally, Gavin contributed to two PIAA State Championship victories as the Assistant Coach for Phillipsburg-Osceola High School.
With 25 years of coaching experience in the fastpitch realm, Gavin's expertise shines through his private hitting lessons at the 14-18u level. He has worked with numerous players who have reached the collegiate level at prestigious institutions such as Penn State, Univ. of Buffalo, St. Francis, Univ of Rochester, IUP, Gannon, Slippery Rock, Clarion, Lock Haven, UPJ, Seton Hill, Penn State-Behrend, Mt. Aloysius, and more.
